Coincidentally, I rented and watched this on Christmas Eve (then again saw it on Christmas Day) and it turned out to be a Christmas movie. Kind of. Well, the events are happening on Christmas and it ends a year later also on Christmas. So it is a new favorite Holiday film now. Really loved this one with it’s slow pacing, dark mood, music, weirdness, excellent performances and deliberate direction.
