Marion and her crazy family return! These are the characters from Delpy’s 2007 film “2 Days in Paris“. Now, Marion is dating Mingus (played by Chris Rock) and she is also a mom from a prior relationship. She lives with Mingus in New York and her family (and an ex who is now dating her sister) comes to visit. That’s when all hell breaks loose since her relatives behave like insane illiterate dopes. The comedy is very broad here and is mostly not funny. No matter how much I like Chris Rock and Julie Delpy and even with a couple of good scenes, this update about Marion and family is a bit of a flop.
