I am sure Von Trier has a “point”. He practically screams his point at the audience in this movie. He is depressed or his characters are depressed. His imagery is bizaar, disturbing and uncomfortable to say the least. I cringed for most of this movie and maybe that is also his point. He wants to torture the poor shmuck who is watching his flick and on that level, it sure works. Bottom line is that I did not care for this or appreciate much of it.
